New No Time to Die Movie Trailer Confirmed To Release This Week

The second trailer for No Time to Die is confirmed to arrive this week. Daniel Craig's last outing as famed spy James Bond was originally scheduled for release in April of this year, but the COVID-19 pandemic proved to be a formidable opponent for 007. No Time to Die was the first film to be delayed by the pandemic, kicking off the trend that still continues to this day. It's currently slated for November 20, but there was still some concern in July that Universal and MGM were considering bumping No Time to Die to summer 2021. However, as of right now, the November date appears to be holding firm.

No Time to Die will pick up with Bond after he's left active service and formed a peaceful life with Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux). However, when his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) arrives in need of help, Bond is thrown back into the action. No Time to Die's trailer revealed whatever mystery Bond gets himself involved in will be tied to a secret from Madeleine's past, and Bond will find himself face to face with his former enemy Blofeld (Christoph Waltz) once again.

So far, only one No Time to Die trailer has come out, and it was back in December 2019. However, as its November release inches closer, MGM has confirmed fans will get their next glimpse at the film this Thursday. As part of this announcement, MGM has revealed a new poster for the film, which shows Craig's Bond looking as suave as ever. The newest No Time to Die trailer could shed more light on Madeleine's devastating secret, or it could help reveal more about Bond's latest antagonist Safin (Rami Malek). Very little is known about him so far, though there was brief speculation he could actually be the classic villain Dr. No. That remains to be seen, but Safin has stirred up some interest thanks to his chilling appearance and Oscar winner Malek's casting.

MGM's release of another No Time to Die trailer also reinforces its determination to debut the film in November. A good number theaters in the United States have reopened in recent weeks, and by November, lucrative markets like Los Angeles and New York could follow suit. Additionally, the international box office saw an impressive revival this past weekend thanks to Tenet, indicating audiences are ready for some major blockbusters. Of course, as the situation with the pandemic is so tenuous, things could change in an instant. For now, though, fans can expect Craig's final turn as Bond to arrive in just a few months.
