Jimmy Odukoya is a popular Nigerian actor and pastor, the son of late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya and Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of Fountain of Life Church, Nigeria. He is also a gospel singer and motivational speaker.

He was born in Lagos but hails from Kaduna State. Jimmy Odukoya’s mother, Bimbo Odukoya, died in the ill-fated Sosoliso plane crash in December 2005, along with 102 other passengers.

Jimmy has four siblings, two sisters from his late mother and two step brothers from his father’s new wife.

Educational Background

Jimmy Odukoya had a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Advertising Minor) from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States of America.

He also holds an MBA in Business Administration from the same University.

Odukoya relocated back to Nigeria from the United States in 2010. That same year, Jimmy was made the assistant pastor of Church which is the youth ministry arm of The Fountain of Life Church.

Jimmy Odukoya who began his acting career some years ago, has so far starred in several Nollywood movies, some of which are:

Aside acting, Jimmy Odukoya is also a gospel musician and motivational speaker. He has a song, ‘Stand By Me’ to his credit.

His Personal Life

The talented actor and pastor has been happily married to a London-based English graduate, Oluwakemi Folashade Banjoko, now Kemi Odukoya by virtue of her marriage and the union is blessed with two children, a boy and girl.

Their wedding took place in London on March 9, 2013.
