Chris Hemsworth Celebrates Thor: Love and Thunder Filming Ending

Filming on Thor: Love and Thunder has officially wrapped as star Chris Hemsworth announced that shooting is over for the heavily anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

“That’s a wrap on Thor Love and Thunder,” Hemsworth wrote on his Instagram. “It’s also national don’t flex day so I thought this super relaxed photo was appropriate. The film is gonna be batshit crazy off the wall funny and might also pull a heart string or two. Lots of love, lots of thunder! Thank you to all the cast and crew who made this another incredible Marvel journey. Buckle in, get ready and see ya in cinemas!”

The latest entry in the Thor film franchise is being directed by New Zealand’s Waititi (Jojo Rabbit), who wrote the script with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Someone Great). Familiar faces are returning with Hemsworth as Thor, Oscar-winner Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. Christian Bale (American Psycho) will play the main villain, Gorr the God Butcher.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to arrive in theaters on May 6, 2022.
