Following the surprise cancellation of NBC’s Manifest and week-long search for its potential new home, Deadline brings word that creator Jeff Rake’s popular sci-fi drama is officially no longer moving forward. https://i0.wp.com/storage.waploaded.com/images/28c66c2953708f748e35d08d7c2a92c9.jpgDespite the first two seasons receiving a positive response on the streamer, Netflix has ultimately decided not to pick up Manifest for a fourth season renewal. This is heartbreaking news to fans who have been invested in the passengers of Montego Air Flight 828, especially when the third and final season ended with a cliffhanger and tons of unanswered questions.

In addition, Rake along with lead stars Josh Dallas and Melissa Roxburgh took to social media to share their final goodbye to the fans by expressing their gratitude for the support they have given them for the past three seasons.

Manifest centered around a commercial airplane that mysteriously disappears, only to reappear five years later. While no time has passed for those on board, the world has gone on without them, and new mysteries unfold for the passengers as they seek to find answers as to how and why their plane disappeared years ago.

The series starred Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, and Matt Long. The series concluded its three-season run earlier this month, with a two-episode finale.

Manifest was written and executive produced by Jeff Rake, who is also serving as showrunner. It was executive produced by are Jack Rapke, Jackie Levine, and Len Goldstein. It was a co-production among Warner Bros. Television, Universal Television, and Compari Entertainment.
