Olivia Wilde Debuts Don’t Worry Darling Teaser Starring Florence Pugh

Actress-turned-director Olivia Wilde took to Twitter to confirm the official release date for New Line Cinema’s forthcoming crime drama horror Don’t Worry Darling.https://i0.wp.com/storage.waploaded.com/images/1e79fdaf54033599938755b980ccb0ef.jpg Starring Oscar winner Florence Pugh, and Grammy winner Harry Styles, the film is scheduled to make its debut in theaters on September 23, 2022. The announcement also comes with the release of the first Don’t Worry Darling teaser which you can check out below, providing us with the first footage of Pugh’s leading performance.

Don’t Worry Darling is directed by Olivia Wilde from a screenplay written by Katie Silberman, who both worked together in Wilde’s acclaimed feature directorial debut Booksmart. Based on the spec script by Carey and Shane Van Dyke, the project is being described as a psychological thriller about a 1950’s housewife who uncovers a disturbing truth to her perfect life.

The film stars Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, and Wilde in a key supporting role. Joining them are Kiki Layne, Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll, Douglas Smith, and Sydney Chandler.

Don’t Worry Darling is being produced by Wilde, and Silberman along with Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee and Miri Yoon. Executive producers are Celia Khong, Richard Brener, Alex G. Scott, Catherine Hardwicke, Shane Van Dyke, and Carey Van Dyke.
