Ilkay Gündoğan earns Man City promotion

Ilkay Gündoğan is Manchester City's new vice-captain.

Fernandinho has retained the role of captain, but there has been changes in the leadership group.

Germany midfielder Gundogan is now his deputy, according to The Telegraph.

Kevin De Bruyne has moved down to fourth on the pecking order.

He has been replaced by Portugal centre-back Ruben Dias, who is now third-choice captain.
