Watford vs Liverpool: Klopp confirms player to miss EPL clash, gives update on Jota, others

Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, has confirmed that Thiago Alcantara will miss the Reds’ away Premier League clash with Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.

Klopp also provided the latest update on Diogo Jota and Trent Alexander-Arnold ahead of the Watford clash.

The German said this during his pre-match press conference on Friday.

“Yes, Trent and Diogo are available, at least they were yesterday,” Klopp said.

“Thiago, I don’t know [when he will be available]. It still takes a little bit of time. That is a bit disappointing, but we know that as well for a few days now that it will not go that quick. We have to wait.”

Klopp’s side head to the game following a 2-2 draw with Manchester City in their last Premier League tie on October 3.

The kick-off time for Watford vs Liverpool is 12.30 pm.
