Enchanted Arrives on Disney+, Disenchanted Gets Release Window

It’s a big day for Enchanted news as the original film has arrived on Disney+ and now the sequel has a release window.

Stars Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey revealed on Twitter that the Disney+ film will arrive in Fall 2022. Production recently wrapped on the film, so it’s well on pace.

Beyond both Adams and Dempsey returning, James Marsden and Idina Menzel will also reprise their roles from the original. The character of Morgan will also return, although Gabby Baldacchino will play her since Rachel Covey is no longer young enough for the role. The main villain in the sequel is named Malvina Monroe. Actresses Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Jayma Mays are also set to join the cast as villains.

The plot reportedly revolves around Giselle and her family rushing to save the Kingdom of Andalsia from Monroe after their fairytale life in the suburbs goes awry. Snow White’s seven dwarfs are also said to appear and have some impact on the story.
