Hustle Teaser Shows Basketball Film From Adam Sandler & LeBron James

Netflix has dropped the teaser trailer for the forthcoming sports comedy-drama titled Hustle, starring Adam Sandler, Oscar nominee Queen Latifah, and NBA star Juancho Hernangómez. It will begin streaming on Friday, June 10.

The Hustle teaser, which you can check out below, features Sandler’s character as recruits a talented amateur basketball player from another country to become the NBA’s next big star. It highlights training montages, while Sandler gives the player an encouraging pep talk about his love for the game.

Hustle stars Adam Sandler (Uncut Gems), Queen Latifah (Chicago), Robert Duvall (The Judge), and Ben Foster (Hell or High Water), NBA player Juancho Hernangomez, Jordan Hull (The L Word: Generation Q), Maria Botto (Mad Dogs), Ainhoa Pillet, and sports commentator Kenny Smith.

“In the film, after discovering a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past abroad, a down on his luck basketball scout takes it upon himself to bring the phenom to the States without his team’s approval,” reads the synopsis. “Against the odds, they have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.”

Hustle is directed by Jeremiah Zagar (We the Animals). It is produced by Sandler through his Happy Madison banner, and Roth/Kirschenbaum Films, along with LeBron James and Maverick Carter for SpringHill Entertainment.
