Obi-Wan Kenobi Trailer Released for Star Wars Disney+ Series

The official Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer for the upcoming Star Wars Disney+ limited series from Lucasfilm has been released. The series will debut exclusively on Disney+ on May 25 and stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master.

“The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader,” reads the official synopsis.

The series also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit), Joel Edgerton (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith), Bonnie Piesse (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith), Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Rupert Friend (Homeland), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Sung Kang (F9: The Fast Saga), Simone Kessell (Of Kings and Prophets), and Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems).

The limited series is executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and Joby Harold. The series is directed by Deborah Chow and written by Joby Harold.
