The Anatomy of a Scandal trailer features the wife of a powerful politician, who has been put on trial for a shocking crime that will change their privileged life forever. She’ll question her husband’s innocence as her trust in him wanes due to the revelation of his infidelity.

Anatomy of a Scandal is an insightful and suspenseful series about privilege and sexual consent. The limited drama is created, written and executive produced by David E. Kelley (The Undoing) and Melissa James Gibson (The Americans). It will be led by Sienna Miller, Michelle Dockery, Rupert Friend, Naomi Scott, and Josette Simon.

“A psychological thriller and gripping courtroom drama, the series infiltrates Britain’s elite through personal and political scandal, where the truth lies between justice and privilege,” reads the synopsis. “James and Sophie Whitehouse live in a blissful and rarified world. A Minister in Parliament, a loving family at home, James’ trajectory appears without limits. Until a scandalous secret suddenly comes to light. Barrister Kate Woodcroft has a trajectory of her own, and her prosecution threatens to tear into Westminster, the Whitehouse marriage, and her own personal esteem.”

Additional cast includes Geoffrey Streatfeild, Joshua McGuire, Liz White, Nancy Farino, Hannah Dodd, Ben Radcliffe, Jake Simmance, Annie Haworth, Amelie Bea-Smith, and Sebastian Selwood.

S.J. Clarkson directs all six episodes of Anatomy of a Scandal and is also serving as an executive producer along with Liza Chasin of 3Dot Productions, Bruna Papandrea, Allie Goss of Made Up Stories, Sarah Vaughan, and Margaret Chernin.
