West Ham boss Moyes admits players fresh for Chelsea trip
West Ham boss David Moyes says they'll be fresh for Sunday's clash at Chelsea.
Moyes was able to have a full week of training with his players.
He said, "It's the first full week we've had for so long. We've tried to give the players time to recover and get ready ahead of an exciting week.
"First and foremost we've got Chelsea on Sunday.
"We're keen to keep them at it, sharp, ready to go and focused on playing. I think it's freshened us all up. We're still in there, still in a decent league position and in a semi-final in Europe.
Chelsea were arguably the favourites for the Premier League in the first three months of the season – since then you've seen the strength of Manchester City and Liverpool.
"They're champions of Europe and have a really good squad and manager. They've had their ups and downs as all teams do, but they have a top team. It's just the top two have ploughed ahead."
On the 3-2 win at the London Stadium in December, he added: "It was a great result for us at the start of the season when they were in top form and now we have to try and get a result at Stamford Bridge as well."
