A new batch of posters for the upcoming action-thriller Bullet Train has been released, highlighting some of the main characters set to board the train when the film premieres on August 5, 2022.
The posters feature a handful of the characters set to star in the film, many of whom will be playing assassins tasked with obtaining a briefcase aboard a bullet train. The posters include Brad Pitt, Bad Bunny, Joey King, Michael Shannon, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, and more, all of whom have their own unique codename and backstory.
“In the film, Brad Pitt stars as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs gone off the rails,” reads the new synopsis. “Fate, however, may have other plans, as Ladybug’s latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe – all with connected, yet conflicting, objectives – on the world’s fastest train. From the director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch, the end of the line is only the beginning in a wild, non-stop thrill ride through modern-day Japan.”
Bullet Train is directed by David Leitch (Deadpool 2) from a screenplay written by Zak Olkewicz (Fear Street), based on Isaka Kotaro’s Japanese novel titled Maria Beetle. It stars Brad Pitt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Andrew Koji, Joey King, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael Shannon, Hiroyuki Sanada, Bad Bunny, Masi Oka, Zazie Beetz, Logan Lerman, Karen Fukuhara, and Sandra Bullock.
Bullet Train is being produced by Leitch and Kelly McCormick through their company 87North, along with Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick. Executive producers are Kotaro’s Ryosuke Saegusa and Yuma, with Brittany Morrissey executive overseeing the film for Sony Pictures.
