Howdy, Neighbor!: 7 Former Disney Stars Join LGBTQ+ Horror Film

According to Variety, seven former Disney Channel stars have been enlisted to join the cast of the forthcoming LGBTQ+ horror thriller film titled Howdy, Neighbor!

This includes So Random! actors Matthew Scott Montgomery, Shayne Topp, and Damien Haas; Jessie stars Debby Ryan and Kevin Chamberlin; Alyson Stoner (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody), and Tim Bagley (Shake It Up!). Additional cast also includes Grant Jordan, Sterling Sulieman, Adam Faison, Greer Grammer, and Kimmy Shields.

Howdy, Neighbor! will be directed by Allisyn Snyder, who is also a former Disney star who appeared in Sonny With a Chance and So Random! Described as a “screen life” film, The screenplay is written by Montgomery.

“The film follows Benjamin, a young queer millenial actor living in West Hollywood who was once a famous child actor,” reads the synopsis. “When a new neighbor Chase moves across the hall and reveals himself as a fan, Benjamin begins investigating the oddly familiar man with his best friend Harley.”

Howdy, Neighbor! is produced by Watch the Footage and Exit Strategy, with Allisyn Snyder and Charles M. Barsamian serving as producers. Dylan Snyder and Bob Morrison are executive producers.
