Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin Featurettes Introduce Mouse & Noa

HBO Max has revealed two behind-the-scenes featurettes for Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, the coming-of-age mystery horror drama which serves as a spin-off to the original popular teen drama of the same name.

The videos highlight two of the main characters, including Malia Pyles’ Mouse and Maia Reficco’s Noa, as they each get to explain their backgrounds, personalities, and roles within the group.

The 10-episode first season will be available for streaming on Thursday, July 28 with the first three episodes. Two new episodes will follow on August 4 and 11, with the final three episodes debuting on August 18.

Based upon the bestselling series of books by Sara Shepard, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin is being led by Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco. Joining them are Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Lea Salonga, Eric Johnson, and Alex Aiono.

“Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart,” reads the synopsis. “Now, in present day, a disparate group of teen girls – a brand-new set of Little Liars – find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin committed by their parents two decades ago … as well as their own. In the dark, coming-of-age, horror-tinged drama, we find ourselves miles away from Rosewood, but within the existing Pretty Little Liars universe – in a brand-new town, with a new generation of Little Liars.”

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin is written and executive produced by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring. It is produced by Aguirre-Sacasa’s Muckle Man Productions and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television. Original series creator I. Marlene King, Michael Grassi, Caroline Baron, and Alloy’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo are also serving as executive producers.
