The Menu Trailer: Ralph Fiennes Turns Fine Dining into a Nightmare

Searchlight Pictures has dropped the full trailer for The Menu, its upcoming dark comedy thriller, which is slated to hit the theaters on November 18.

The video highlights a one-of-a-kind and expensive fine dining experience hosted by Ralph Fiennes’ authoritarian chef character. It features Anya Taylor-Joy’s character as the only one who is feeling uneasy about the chef and the staff’s intentions.

The Menu is directed by Mark Mylod (Game of Thrones, Succession) from a screenplay written by Seth Reiss and Will Tracy. Joining Taylor-Joy, Fiennes, and Hoult are Hong Chau, John Leguizamo, Janet McTeer, Judith Light, Reed Birney, Aimee Carrero, Arturo Castro, Rob Yang, and more.

“A couple (Taylor-Joy and Hoult) travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises,” reads the synopsis.

The Menu is produced by Adam McKay and Betsy Koch through their Hyperobject Industries banner. DanTram Nguyen, Katie Goodson-Thomas, and Zahra Phillips are overseeing the project for Searchlight Pictures.
