Wedding Season Trailer: Rosa Salazar Leads Hulu's Rom-Com Thriller Series

Hulu has dropped the official trailer for the Wedding Season, its forthcoming romantic-comedy action thriller starring Rosa Salazar and Gavin Drea. All eight episodes will be available for streaming on September 8.

The video features Drea’s Stefan as he tries to stop the love of his life Katie from marrying someone else. However, things didn’t go the way he wanted to as he now finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation that involves the suspicious deaths of Katie’s new husband and in-laws.

Wedding Season is described as an action-packed romp across the UK and the US as Katie and Stefan go on the run, all while trying to prove their innocence. It stars Rosa Salazar, Gavin Drea, Jade Harrison, Jamie Michie, Callie Cooke, Bhav Joshi, Ioanna Kimbrook, and Omar Baroud.

“The genre-busting series tells the story of Katie and Stefan who fall for each other at a wedding and begin an affair, despite Katie already having a fiancé,” reads the synopsis. “Two months later at Katie’s wedding, her new husband and his entire family are murdered. The police think Stefan did it. Stefan thinks Katie did it. And no one knows for sure what the truth is…”

Wedding Season is directed by George Kate from a screenplay written by up-and-coming scribe Oliver Lyttelton. It is executive produced by Chris Carey, Laurence Bowen, and Toby Bruce, Brooke Posch, Lilly Burns, Tony Hernandez, and Johanna Devereaux.
