Alison Brie Would Like to Play a Marvel Villain in the Future

While reports last year may have hinted that Alison Brie was ready to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a hero, it seems that the actress herself has her eyes set on the other side of things.

Speaking to Comicbook.com, Brie was asked if she’s ever had her eyes on a role set in the incredibly popular MCU. According to the actress, while she hasn’t ever thought about something specific, she could see herself playing “a great Marvel villain.”

“Nothing specifically that I have set my sights on, no, and I think that would be a mistake, because clearly you can’t really dictate,” said Brie. “Marvel’s going to do their thing, as they should. I think there’s a fantasy deep in my mind that one day I would get to play a great Marvel villain, but I don’t know which one that would be. People, fans, send me some ideas so I can start the campaign.”

While Brie herself has never mentioned any roles in the MCU, rumors surrounding the actress’ participation in the world of Marvel Studios have been swirling for years, with the latest being that she might star in the recently released She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. However, it seems as if, for now at least, Brie has no full plans to star in any MCU project, but is ready to start hearing potential suggestions.
