HBO Max Promo Reel Teases New Footage of The Last of Us & Succession

HBO Max has dropped a new promo reel for some of its highly-anticipated original shows that are set to make their debut soon.

This includes new footage from The Last of Us, The White House Plumbers, The Full Circle, and Love and Death. It also continues to tease the return of Succession, The White Lotus, Gossip Girl, Hacks, Tokyo Vice, Warrior, and more.

The Last of Us series will tackle the events of the first game with the possibility of additional content based on the sequel. It is set to be led by Game of Thrones alums Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. It is currently set to make its debut in 2023.

“The live-action series takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed,” reads the synopsis. “Joel and Ellie, a pair connected through the harshness of the world they live in, are forced to endure brutal circumstances and ruthless killers on a trek across a post-pandemic America.”

Succession follows the story of the Roy family — Logan Roy (Cox) and his four children — who control one of the biggest media and entertainment conglomerates in the world. The series tracks their lives as they contemplate what the future will hold for them once their aging father begins to step back from the company.

The series stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Alan Ruck, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Nicholas Braun, Hiam Abbass, Peter Friedman, Matthew Macfadyen, Rob Yang, Dagmara Dominczyk, Arian Moayed, J. Smith-Cameron, Justine Lupe, David Rasche, and Fisher Stevens.
