Seven Wonders will feature Liu playing the role of Dr. Nate Grady, described as a “brilliant botanist-adventurer who teams up with the slippery international fixer Sloane Seydoux on a breathless race to solve an ancient mystery tied to the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.”

The action-adventure series will be written by Adam Cozad. It will be executive produced by Liu, Cozad, Lin, Salvador Gatdula, Andrew Schneider, Beau Flynn, and Scott Sheldon. It is a production by Perfect Storm Entertainment, Flynn Picture Company, and Universal Television.

This marks Liu’s first major TV project after the surprise cancellation of the comedy Kim’s Convenience. He will next be seen in Greta Gerwig’s live-action Barbie movie, Mark Wahlberg’s Arthur the King, and the romance drama One True Loves.
