The Super Mario Bros. Movie Poster Reveals Final Trailer Release Date

Illumination and Nintendo have revealed a new The Super Mario Bros. Movie poster and announced when the final trailer for the movie will be released.

The new poster features Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, Toad, and Cranky Kong racing down the iconic Rainbow Road track from the Mario Kart series, accompanied by an infamous blue shell projectile and a bob-omb.

It was also announced that the final The Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer will be shown during a Nintendo Direct that is scheduled for March 9 at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (Teen Titans Go!) from a screenplay written by Minions: The Rise of Gru scribe Matthew Fogel. It is produced by Chris Meledandri for Illumination and Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo.

The film features the voices of its all-star cast including Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.
