Mercy Trailer Previews the Tense Jon Voight-Led Action Thriller

The first official Mercy trailer for the upcoming action thriller movie is out, previewing an ex-military doctor going on an adventure to save the day.

The upcoming film stars Leah Gibson (Jessica Jones), Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Vikings), and Jon Voight (Coming Home), and is directed by Tony Dean Smith with a script from Alex Wright. The film follows Gibson, an ex-military doctor who finds herself thrust into a battle after her son is taken hostage and she’s forced to try and find him.

“An ex-military doctor finds herself in a deadly battle for survival when the Irish mafia seize control of the hospital at which she works,” reads the official synopsis for the film. “When her son is taken hostage, she is forced to rely upon her battle-hardened past and lethal skills after realizing there’s no one left to save the day but her.”

Mercy is set to release in select theaters and digitally on May 19, 2023 and will through video-on-demand on June 2, 2023.
