A Thousand and One Peacock Release Date Set for Streaming

More than a month since its theatrical release, the A Thousand and One Peacock release date has finally been announced.

When is A Thousand and One streaming on Peacock?

Focus Features‘ Teyana Taylor-led drama will be available for streaming later this week. The A Thousand and One Peacock release date is set for Friday, May 19.

“The film follows unapologetic and free-spirited Inez, who kidnaps her six-year-old son Terry from the foster care system,” reads the synopsis. “Holding onto their secret and each other, mother and son set out to reclaim their sense of home, identity, and stability, in a rapidly changing New York City.”

A Thousand and One was written and directed by A.V. Rockwell. Joining Taylor are Will Catlett, Josiah Cross, Aven Courtney and Aaron Kingsley Adetola. The film is produced by Eddie Vaisman, Julia Lededev, Lena Waithe, Rishi Rajani, and Brad Weston, with Oren Moverman and Jamin O’Brien set as executive producers.

The film had its world premiere earlier this year at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, where it took home the Grand Jury Prize.
