Actors Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Wumi Toriola, Fathia Williams, Bobrisky and more stormed the grand wedding of their celebrity friends, Princess Farida Okoro on Thursday, June 1, 2023, in Lagos.

The female entertainers looked stunning in their different styles for the pink and green Asoebi chosen for the wedding occasion. It was glaring that it was a battle of who rocked the Asoebi best.

Farida Abdulkadir, a popular skincare expert got married to her spouse, Mr. Demola Okulaja after 20 years of living together of having several kids.

Farida the bride in a chat with Owambe vibes, gushed saying “I met him in London in 2003 and we started dating. It has always been an off-and on relationship. I returned to Nigeria in 2010 and we started dating again till 2015 when I left him and went to marry my ex husband, Babatunde Sobowale. Now that I am free again, we met and he asked me to marry him, and I said, ‘yes.’

When Demola decided to date me again, I agreed and when he proposed, I accepted since I was not married—I was very single….Truth be told, I didn’t know that Demola and I would get married. When he returned to me again, I thought it was our usual off-and-on affair. I would not deny that I am fond of him and anytime I set my eyes on him, that spark is rekindled. Since 2003, we would date, I would get angry at certain things he did and call it off. Maybe I was immature or not wise. In fact, it’s a testimony that we are getting married today. I give glory to God that it has ended in praise.

Demola is a hands-on man. He is someone I love, and I want to be around. Moreover, he is romantic and caring. Maybe that’s what makes him a ladies’ man and many women want him. I used to be very jealous when I was younger and quarrel with Demola over issues with other women. He is a one-woman-at-a-time guy and gives you all the attention. I’ve always been a date-one-man-at-a-time person too and felt cheated whenever I saw him with another woman, even when he wasn’t dating them. Then, I would walk out of the relationship. But, I am older now and wiser.

I know everything about him—the ladies he had been with and more. That’s why we were able to overcome all the odds when we went public with our relationship. When some people started seeing us together again, they started saying all sorts of rubbish but we stood strong and went ahead with our marriage plans. There is nothing I don’t know about Demola and it has helped me in this relationship.
