Blue Beetle Motion Posters Tease DCU Debut of Newest Superhero

Two new motion posters have been released for the upcoming DC superhero movie Blue Beetle.

“Jaime Reyes suddenly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology called the Scarab,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “When the Scarab chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he’s bestowed with an incredible suit of armor that’s capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the superhero Blue Beetle.”

Is Blue Beetle in the DCEU?

Yes, it is intended to be the 14th film in the DC Extended Universe. There have been rumors that the character will get incorporated into the DC Universe being developed by James Gunn and Peter Safran.

Blue Beetle will release on August 18, 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
