Kevin Spacey-Led Peter Five Eight Gets U.S. Release, Watch Trailer

A trailer for Kevin Spacey-led thriller Peter Five Eight is officially out, following the film’s acquisition by SPI International.

Alongside Spacey, the film also features Jet Jandreau. Jandreau plays Sam, “a glamorous real estate agent who is revealed to be an unhinged and troubled alcoholic with a dark secret.” Rebecca De Mornay also plays Brenda, who Peter targets for information at the behest of his shadowy boss, Mr. Lock.

When was Peter Five Eight filmed?

The film was reportedly shot in September 2021 in Siskiyou County, California. According to director Michael Zaiko Hall, Spacey was no problem on set. “Kevin was a joy to work with, kept everyone laughing between takes, and delivered what I think will be a surprising treat for his fans,” Hall said in an email to The Hollywood Reporter.

Once heralded as a legendary actor, Spacey’s career came to a halt in 2017. That year, Spacey was accused of making sexual advances on actor Anthony Rapp — fourteen at the time — in 1986. More allegations followed, leading to Netflix cutting ties with Spacey on their planned film Gore. He was also removed from the final season of House of Cards.
