Billions Season 7 Trailer Released, Features Damian Lewis’ Return

The hit Showtime series Billions will end with its seventh and final season this year. Ahead of that, a new Billions Season 7 trailer preview the return of Damian Lewis.

Damian Lewis is back as Bobby Axelrod in Billions Season 7

The new trailer for the upcoming season previews the chaotic conclusion. However, the biggest moment comes with the return of actor Damian Lewis as hedge fund billionaire Bobby “Axe” Axelrod.

Lewis left the series after the fifth season, but will return for six of the 12 final episodes. In the trailer, Axelrod jokes about vacations not being as long as they should be.

The ending comes as Showtime develops multiple spin-offs based on Billions for the upcoming Paramount+ with Showtime rebrand. Series creators Brian Koppelman and David Levien are developing these four potential series. They include Millions — which follows rising financiers — and Trillions, which centers on the ultra-rich. Two other untitled shows, which will take place in Miami and London, are also in development.

Billions stars Paul Giamatti, Corey Stoll, Maggie Siff, Asia Kate Dillon, David Costabile, Toby Leonard Moore, Condola Rashad, Jeffrey DeMunn, Kelly AuCoin, and Daniel Breaker.

“In season seven, alliances are turned on their heads,” reads the logline. “Old wounds are weaponized. Loyalties are tested. Betrayal takes on epic proportions. Enemies become wary friends. And Bobby Axelrod returns, as the stakes grow from Wall Street to the world.”

Billions is created and executive produced by showrunners Brian Koppelman and David Levien. The series was also created by Andrew Ross Sorkin. You can stream previous seasons on Showtime’s platforms.
