A Murder At The End of the World Teaser Trailer Sets Release Date for Hulu Thriller

FX Networks has dropped the first teaser trailer for A Murder At The End of the World, the upcoming murder mystery miniseries, starring Golden Globe winner Emma Corrin as an amateur detective.

The video offers a glimpse of its main cast including Corrin, Harris Dickinson, Clive Owen, and more. The thriller drama will start streaming on August 29 on Hulu.

What is A Murder At The End of the World about?

“A mystery series with a new kind of detective at the helm – a Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker named Darby Hart,” reads the logline. “Darby and eight other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire to participate in a retreat at a remote and dazzling location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use all of her skills to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests before the killer takes another life.”

A Murder At The End of The World (formerly titled as Retreat) is created and directed by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, with Marling also co-starring in the series. Joining Corin are Harris Dickinson, Clive Owen, Alice Braga, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Ryan J. Haddad, Pegah Ferydoni, Javed Khan, Louis Cancelmi, Edoardo Ballerini, Britian Seibert, Christopher Gurr, Kellan Tetlow, Daniel Olson, and Neal Huff.

The 7-episode series is executive produced by Marling, Batmanglj, Andrea Sperling, Melanie Marnich, and Nicki Paluga. It hails from FX Productions.
