Jennifer Lawrence Debunks Liam Hemsworth-Miley Cyrus Rumor

Jennifer Lawrence quashed rumors of a reported hook-up between her and actor Liam Hemsworth. She says the pair were never in an affair of any kind.

Lawrence denies Hemsworth relationship

On a recent Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Lawrence was asked about rumors that she and Hemsworth were having an affair while Hemsworth was engaged to star musician Miley Cyrus.

Rumors swirled when Cyrus released the music video for her 2023 hit “Flowers,” which features her in a gold dress many likened to one Lawrence wore to a premiere for The Hunger Games.

Lawrence says there was no truth to the news whatsoever. While she did acknowledge that the pair had kissed once before in the movies, it was well after Hemsworth and Cyrus had broken up.

“Not true, total rumor,” Lawrence said. “I mean, we all know me and Liam, like, kissed one time. It was years after they’d broke up, so I just assumed that was, like, a coincidence.”

Lawrence currently stars in the R-rated comedy No Hard Feelings; meanwhile Hemsworth is set to star in the fourth season of Netflix’s The Witcher. He’ll take over for Henry Cavill as Geralt.
