The official Spider-Man Twitter account revealed that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be coming to Disney+ on Friday, August 11. This means that the sequel joins the first film, Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, Venom, and Spider-Man: Homecoming on the service.

“Confident in his powers as Spider-Man, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) embraces his new role as a hero and spends time with Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) in between protecting New York from criminals,” reads the movie’s synopsis. “However, his greatest battle yet is about to begin.
