Natalie Portman Separates From Husband After His Cheating Scandal

Natalie Portman and her husband, Benjamin Millepied, have separated after 11 years of marriage, according to a recent report from Us Weekly.

What is happening with Natalie Portman?

According to Us Weekly’s report, the separation between the two stems from an alleged affair that Millepied had earlier this year. An insider notes that while the couple did try to repair things, they are “currently on the outs,” and have gone their separate ways.

“After news of his affair came out, they’ve been trying to work on their marriage but are currently on the outs,” said the insider.

In June, rumors began popping up that Millepied, 46, was having an affair with Camille Étienne, a 25-year-old climate activist. The report goes on to mention that Portman believed the French dancer and choreographer’s affair was brief and a “stupid liaison,” and was willing to try and work through things for the benefit of their two children.

However, it seems that hasn’t worked, with a source for Us Weekly noting Portman felt “humiliated” by the rumors. The report goes on to mention that “right now, they are talking and working on it together for the sake of their children,” according to an insider.

Portman and Millepied met in 2009 while both were working on Darren Aronofsky’s 2010 film Black Swan. The pair married in 2012, and have two children.
