Foe Movie Release Date Revealed for Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal Thriller

The Foe movie release date has been revealed.

Vanity Fair has released exclusive photos from this upcoming psychological thriller movie. This film stars Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird, Little Women) and Paul Mescal (Normal People, Aftersun) and is directed by Garth Davis (Lion, Mary Magdalene). It is based on Iain Reid’s novel of the same name.

The movie will release in theaters on October 6, 2023, from Amazon Studios.

“The story begins with the arrival of a mystery man named Terrance (played by The Underground Railroad’s Aaron Pierre) who claims to be working with the government,” according to Vanity Fair. “He makes a proposal for Junior to leave home for several months to help pilot a space program that is intended to facilitate the transition away from life on a rapidly deteriorating Earth.

“Junior doesn’t want to go, but he’s told he must; Henrietta absorbs the news more carefully. There’s an extensive plan in place to watch over her while he’s away, in any case, so she’s not left alone. Terrance eventually joins the pair at their home—interviewing them, hearing their secrets, and opening them up to startling visions of the future and grim truths of their past.”
