Chucky Stalks the President of the United States in New Season 3 Trailer

Chucky is making his way into the Oval Office to stalk the president in a new trailer for the series’ upcoming third season.

Syfy released a new trailer for Chucky Season 3, which officially launches in October 2023. The footage sees Chucky make his way to the White House to cause mayhem and disrupt the life of the president, played by returning cast member Devin Sawa.

“In Chucky’s unending thirst for power, season 3 now sees Chucky ensconced with the most powerful family in the world — America’s First Family, inside the infamous walls of the White House,” the official Chucky Season 3 synopsis reads. “How did Chucky wind up here? What in God’s name does he want? And how can Jake, Devon, and Lexy possibly get to Chucky inside the world’s most secure house, all while balancing the pressures of romantic relationships and growing up? Meanwhile, Tiffany faces a looming crisis of her own as the police close in on her for ‘Jennifer Tilly’s’ murderous rampage last season.”

Chucky: The Good Guy doll you seriously don’t want to mess with

Created by Don Mancini, Chucky launched on Syfy and the USA Network in October 2021. Serving as a sequel to the Child’s Play franchise and, more specifically, 2017’s Cult of Chucky, the first season of the series brought the murderous Good Guy doll to the city of Hackensack, New Jersey, to torment a teenager named Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur).

The second season followed in October 2022 and saw Jake, his boyfriend Devon (Björgvin Arnarson), and their friend Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind) forced to attend a Catholic reform school, only to discover Chucky has followed them there.

Sawa has played a handful of different characters over the course of Chucky’s first two seasons. He originally appeared as Jake’s father, who was killed in the premiere episode, and then returned as the character’s twin brother for the remainder of the season. In Chucky Season 2, Sawa played the headmaster of the Catholic school.

In addition to the aforementioned cast, Chucky stars Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky, Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany Valentine, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Christine Elise as Kyle, Lachlan Watson as Glen/Glenda Tilly, and Carina London Battrick as Caroline Cross.

Chucky Season 3 premieres on Syfy and the USA Network on October 4, 2023. New episodes will be available to stream on Peacock the following day.
