After we got a teasing poster yesterday, the first Thanksgiving trailer has arrived.

the seasonal slasher movie by Eli Roth (Hostel) got a teaser trailer exclusively over at Fandango, and it gives us a juicy glimpse of the kind of carnage we can expect, including an interesting use of a walk-in freezer door.

In Thanksgiving, a masked killer with a pilgrim fixation comes to a small Massachusetts town with the intention of creating a Thanksgiving carving board out of the town’s inhabitants.

The idea was born from a fake trailer Roth created for the Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez Grindhouse double bill in 2007. People loved the idea so much they’ve been clamoring for a real film ever since, and now here it finally is.

The Thanksgiving movie stars Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Gina Gershon, and Milo Manheim. It will be released exclusively in theaters on November 17, 2023.
