Who’s involved in Nyad?
Nyad serves as the narrative feature directorial debut of documentary filmmakers Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin (Free Solo, The Rescue). The film is written by Julia Cox, based on Nyad’s Find A Way memoir. Joining Bening and Foster are Rhys Ifans, Ethan Jones Romero, Luke Cosgrove, Jeena Yi, and Eric T. Miller.

Determined to become the first person to finish the swim without a shark cage, Diana goes on a thrilling, four-year journey with her best friend and coach Bonnie Stoll and a dedicated sailing team.”
The film is executive produced by Bill Johnson, Jim Seibel, Michael Heimler, Vanessa Humphrey, Julia Cox, and D. Scott Lumpkin, with Andrew Lazar and Teddy Schwarzman producing.
