V/H/S 85 Trailer Explodes With Bloody Found Footage Chaos

The latest trailer for V/H/S 85 has arrived and shows us plenty of found footage carnage.

In this latest installment of the popular horror film series, an ominous mixtape blends never-before-seen snuff footage with nightmarish newscasts and disturbing home videos to create a surreal, analog mashup of the forgotten 80s.

There appear to be some quite varied stories told if this trailer is anything to go by, and it’s certainly not shy about spilling some claret in any of them.

The directors involved in this latest anthology are David Bruckner (The Night House, Hellraiser), Scott Derrickson (Sinister, The Black Phone), Mike Nelson (Wrong Turn), Gigi Saul Guerrero (Bingo Hell, Satanic Hispanics), and Natasha Kermani (Lucky).

This is the sixth film in the V/H/S series, which began in 2012. Over the years, it’s featured a host of genre directors such as Adam Wingard (You’re Next), Matt Bettinelli-Olpin (Scream VI), Timo Tjahjanto (The Night Comes For Us), Johannes Roberts (The Strangers), and Gareth Evans (The Raid).

V/H/S 85 will be released on Shudder on October 6, 2023.
