Paramount+’s iCarly Revival Canceled After Three Seasons

iCarly star Laci Mosley took to X to confirm that Paramount+ has officially decided not to renew the Miranda Cosgrove-led sitcom for a fourth season. The cancellation comes after over two months since the iCarly revival had wrapped Miranda Cosgrove’s 10-episode third season, which ended with a cliffhanger involving the arrival of Carly’s estranged mom.

“iCarly will not be returning for a fourth season on Paramount+,” a Paramount+ representative said in a statement (via TVLine). “The series had a great three-season run and delivered on what fans really wanted to see with Carly and Freddie finally getting together. We want to thank the entire cast, the writers, directors and producers along with the whole crew for their dedication, creativity and talent.”

Who was in the iCarly revival?

The iCarly revival was 10 years after Nickelodeon’s original show ended, which finds Carly Shay, the original influencer, and her friends navigating work, love, and family in their twenties. Cosgrove was joined by returning stars Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainer, who reprise their respective roles as Freddie Benson and Spencer Shay.

The series also starred Laci Mosley (Florida Girls) as Carly’s roommate Harper and Jaidyn Triplett (See) as Freddie’s snarky and social media-savvy stepdaughter, Millicent. Throughout its three-season run, it also featured guest-star appearances from characters who appeared in the original sitcom including Danielle Morrow’s Nora, Reed Alexander’s Nevel, Ryan Ochoa’s Chuck, Ethan Munck’s Guppy, Drew Roy’s Griffin, James Maslow’s Shane and more.

The iCarly revival was executive produced by Ali Schouten and Jonathan Fener, who served as showrunners. Producers were Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress, and Alissa Vradenburg, with Cosgrove executive producing. It was a production by Nickelodeon Studios.
