Multiple Amber Heard Aquaman 2 Scenes Were Cut From DCU Movie

A new report has come out about Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, stating that some scenes featuring Amber Heard were cut from the DC Universe movie.

Variety revealed that, according to individuals familiar with the production, at least two scenes that featured Amber Heard’s character Mera were cut from the DC Studios sequel. They’re described as “an action sequence that found Mera fighting Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and a love scene with [Jason] Momoa.”

This isn’t the first story to come from today’s report, as it also had a DC spokesperson deny allegations of Jason Momoa arriving to the set of the film drunk.

Who stars alongside Amber Heard in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom?

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is once again directed by James Wan from a screenplay written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. The sequel features the return of Jason Momoa as he reprises the leading role of Arthur Curry/Aquaman. Joining him are various returning cast members, including Patrick Wilson as Orm, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.

It will also feature the introduction of new cast members in Game of Thrones alum Pilou Asbaek Indya Moore (Pose, Escape Room: Tournament of Champions), Vincent Regan (300, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance), and Chinese-Portuguese actress Jani Zhao (Jogo Duplo, The Sugar Captains) in her first major Hollywood film and English-language feature debut. Aquaman 2 is produced by Wan and frequent collaborator Peter Safran.
