Saltburn Images: Cast Brings the Party to the English Countryside

New images for Saltburn highlight what audiences can expect from Emerald Fennell’s upcoming psychological drama. Set to premiere on November 17, the newly released photos show the main cast members having the time of their lives across the English countryside.

Apart from sitting in the director’s chair, Fennel — who also directed the critically acclaimed Promising Young Woman — also serves as the forthcoming film’s producer, alongside Josey McNamara and actress Margot Robbie. You can check out the new images below:

What is Saltburn About?

Centering on an awkward college student named Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan), Saltburn — which is set in the mid-2000s — will see the character struggle to find his footing at the prestigious Oxford University. Things change when he became friends with the life of the party, Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi). Though specific plot details remain up in the air, Oliver will be spending his summer at Felix’s elite family estate at Saltburn, where he will meet the latter’s unconventional and eccentric family.

“Fennell brings us a beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire. Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, student Oliver Quick finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton, who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten,” the synopsis reads.

Saltburn Boasts an Ensemble Cast

Aside from Keoghan and Elordi, Saltburn also stars Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl), Richard E. Grant (Withnail and I), Alison Oliver (Best Interests), Archie Madekwe (Midsommar), and Carey Mulligan (She Said).

The film’s director, Fennel, also starred in several features, including The Danish Girl, Pan, Vita & Virginia, Promising Young Woman, and Barbie.
