The Marvels New Clip Highlights Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel’s Body-Swapping Fights

Marvel Studios has released a new clip from The Marvels, the next movie in the MCU. The Marvels arrives in theaters on November 10.

In the clip titled “Friend of Yours,” Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) is fighting adversaries at the home of Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), also known as Ms. Marvel. When Danvers uses her powers, she swaps places with Ms. Marvel, who takes over the fight. Khan swaps spots again and winds up in a space station with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), who gives the young hero a much-needed assist.

What to Expect in The Marvels?

“Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence,” Marvel’s official synopsis states. “But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau.”

Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris headline The Marvels as Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau. Joining the trio are Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Zawe Ashton as Dar-Benn, and Park Seo-joon as Prince Yan.

The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta, who co-wrote the screenplay alongside Megan McDonnell and Elissa Karasik. The film is the direct sequel to Captain Marvel and the continuation of the Disney+ series, Ms. Marvel. The Marvels is the third film in the MCU’s Phase Five behind Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
