Murder at the End of the World Teaser Trailer Introduces Emma Corrin as a Gen Z Sherlock Holmes

FX has dropped the Murder at the End of the World teaser trailer for its forthcoming mystery thriller drama starring Golden Globe winner Emma Corrin.

The video highlights Corrin as a young famous detective who’s described as a “Gen Z Sherlock Holmes.” The character’s next case involves a murder mystery that happened at a billionaire’s remote retreat. The series will start streaming on November 14 exclusively on Hulu.

What is A Murder At The End of the World?

“A mystery series with a new kind of detective at the helm — a Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker named Darby Hart,” reads the logline. “Darby and eight other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire to participate in a retreat at a remote and dazzling location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use all of her skills to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests before the killer takes another life.”

A Murder At The End of The World is created and directed by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, with Marling also co-starring in the series. Joining Corin are Harris Dickinson, Clive Owen, Alice Braga, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Ryan J. Haddad, Pegah Ferydoni, Javed Khan, Louis Cancelmi, Edoardo Ballerini, Britian Seibert, Christopher Gurr, Kellan Tetlow, Daniel Olson, and Neal Huff.

The 7-episode series is executive produced by Marling, Batmanglij, Andrea Sperling, Melanie Marnich, and Nicki Paluga. It hails from FX Productions.
