Ahsoka Star Ariana Greenblatt Celebrates Her Star Wars Debut, Says She’s ‘Deeply Grateful’

Young Ahsoka actress Ariana Greenblatt has nothing but good words about her Star Wars debut. The actress said she is “deeply grateful” to her Star Wars family and the “600+” creatives behind the “Shadow Warrior” episode, where she first appeared as the feisty warrior from planet Shili.

Greenblatt’s portrayal of young Ahsoka Tano was well-received by fans, with some praising her on-screen chemistry with Hayden Christensen. Of course, that would be nearly impossible without the help of those around her, for whom she’s greatly thankful.

Greenblatt on X (formerly Twitter) shared a picture of her with Anakin Skywalker actor Christensen, Ahsoka Tano actress Rosario Dawson, and series creators Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. The young actress then signed off her post with “Snips,” the nickname of the character she played.

What is Ahsoka about?

After appearing as Ahsoka in The Mandalorian Season 2, Dawson reprised her role as the former Jedi Knight in Disney+’s eight-episode Ahsoka. The series follows the titular character as she fights to prevent the return of the ruthless Grand Admiral Thrawn.

“Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy,” the official synopsis for Ahsoka reads.

Written and executive produced by Filoni — the man behind The Clone Wars and Rebels — Ahsoka also stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, and David Tennant as the voice for Huyang.

You can stream all eight episodes of Ahsoka on Disney+.
