Who’s the cast of Chicken Run 2?

Described as a comedy action-adventure with a moving family story at its heart, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is the latest collaboration between Netflix and Aardman following the musical short film Robin Robin. The sequel will feature the voices of Thandiwe Newton as Ginger, Zachary Levi as Rocky, Bella Ramsey as Molly, Jane Horrocks as Babs, Imelda Staunton as Bunty, Lynn Ferguson as Mac, Josie Sedgwick-Davies as Frizzle, David Bradley as Fowley, Romesh Ranganathan as Nick, Daniel Mays as Fetcher, Nick Mohammed as Dr. Fry, Miranda Richardson as Mrs. Tweedy, and Peter Serafinowicz as Reginald Smith.

“Having pulled off a death-defying escape from Tweedy’s farm, Ginger has finally found her dream – a peaceful island sanctuary for the whole flock, far from the dangers of the human world,” reads the synopsis. “When she and Rocky hatch a little girl called Molly, Ginger’s happy ending seems complete. But back on the mainland the whole of chicken-kind faces a new and terrible threat. For Ginger and her team, even if it means putting their own hard-won freedom at risk – this time, they’re breaking in!”

Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is being directed by Sam Fell (Flushed Away, ParaNorman) from a screenplay written by Karey Kirkpatrick, John O’Farrell, and Rachel Tunnard. Executive producers are Peter Lord, Carla Shelley, Karey Kirkpatrick, and Nick Park, with Steve Pegram and Leyla Hobart serving as producers.
