Death and Other Details Trailer: Mandy Patinkin Leads Hulu Murder Mystery Series

Hulu has revealed the official Death and Other Details trailer for its newest murder mystery series, starring Mandy Patinkin and Violett Beane.

The video highlights the mystery behind the murder of a luxury cruise passenger. It introduces Patinkin’s Detective Rufus Coteworth, as he partners up with Beane’s Imogene Scott to solve the case after Imogene accidentally becomes one of the prime suspects. The series will be available for streaming on January 16.

What to expect in Death and Other Details?

Set amidst the glamor of the global elite, Death and Other Details centers on the brilliant and restless Imogene Scott, who finds herself in the wrong place/wrong time (okay, it was kinda her fault) and becomes the prime suspect in a locked room murder mystery,” reads the synopsis. “The setting? A lavishly restored Mediterranean ocean liner. Suspects? Every pampered guest and every exhausted crew member. The problem? To prove her innocence, she must partner with a man she despises – Rufus Cotesworth, the world’s greatest detective.”

Death and Other Details is written and executive produced by Mike Weiss and Heidi Cole McAdams, who are also serving as showrunners. Joining Beane and Patinkin are Lauren Patten, Rahul Kohli, Angela Zhou, Hugo Diego Garcia, Pardis Saremi and Linda Emond. Executive producers are director Marc Webb, Mark Martin, and David Petrarca. It is a production by ABC Signature.
