CBS Unveils Ghosts Season 3 First-Look Images

CBS has finally released the first-look images for the upcoming third season of the hit comedy series Ghosts, starring Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar as Woodstone’s bed-and-breakfast hosts Sam and Jay. The highly anticipated Season 3 will premiere on February 15, 2024.

Despite delays due to the now-concluded Hollywood strikes, the CBS sitcom is now gearing up for the third season. The new images, which come from the Season 3 premiere episode “Owl,” see the couple seemingly entangled in another mystery.

The premiere episode’s logline (via TVLine) suggests that Sam and Jay might be close to unraveling the lingering mystery of Season 2. The logline reads: “Sam, Jay, and the remaining ghosts unravel the mystery of which ghost passed into the afterlife. Also, Sam and Jay must relocate an owl in order to do construction on the barn to turn it into Jay’s restaurant.”

Who are the returning cast members for Season 3?

Fans of the show will still see much of Ghosts’ original cast for the upcoming third season, including McIver and Ambudkar. Joining them are Román Zaragoza as Sasappis, Asher Grodman as Trevor, Danielle Pinnock as Alberta, Sheila Carrasco as Susan, Rebecca Wisocky as Hetty, Richie Moriarty as Pete Martino, Brandon Scott Jones as Captain Isaac Higgintoot, and Devan Chandler Long as Thorfinn.

What is Ghosts about?

Ghosts follows Sam and Jay as they renovate their inherited massive country estate into a bed-and-breakfast business. They soon discover, however, that the place is inhabited by ghosts.

The official synopsis for Ghosts reads: “Samantha and Jay throw caution to the wind when they convert their recently inherited country estate into a bed-and-breakfast. Call it mislaid plans. Not only is the place falling apart, but it’s also inhabited by spirits of previous residents – whom only Samantha can see and hear. Ghosts spins the funny, heartfelt story about a newfound dream that reveals connection and self-discovery aren’t just for the living.”

Ghosts Season 3 premieres on February 15, 2024.
