Reacher Season 3 Source Material Announced for Prime Video Series

Prime Video announced Reacher Season 3 will be based on Persuader, the seventh book in Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series. The Season 3 logline reads, “Reacher must go undercover to rescue an informant held by a haunting foe from his past.”

Prime Video also announced the return of Maria Sten as Frances Neagley for Season 3. Neagley is one of Reacher’s only friends, having served in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit.

Alan Ritchson, who stars as Jack Reacher, confirmed Season 3’s source material in an Instagram video.

What to Expect in Reacher Season 3?

Prime Video announced Reacher Season 3 two weeks before the Season 2 premiere. Filming is currently underway in Toronto.

Reacher is one of Prime Video’s most popular TV series. Season 2 was number one on Prime Video worldwide during its premiere weekend across both series and movies. Reacher became Prime Video’s most-watched title of the year within five days of the Season 2 premiere.

Reacher is written for television by Nick Santora based on the novels by Lee Child. Santora, who also serves as the showrunner, is an executive producer on Season 3 alongside Child, Ritchson, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, and Mick Betancourt. Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell are listed as executive producers. Reacher is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios.
