Ami fakes running away from home after getting her exam results back. Shruti blames herself for Ami's behaviour and lack of concentration. Ami skips taking her Gran to the eye specialist so she go to the movies.

Ami overhears her Granny saying to Shruti that she should consider marrying again. Shruti finds out the reason why Harsh's insurance money hasn't been paid out yet and it devastates her completely. Shruti tries her best to hide the news from her family.

Ami has a bright idea to let everyone around them help repair the ceiling. Ami's hard work pays off as she manages to Make Jasu pay for the damages. Ami finds out what her mom tried to keep from her about her father, when she reads the insurance letter.

Sanjay offers to teach Ami Maths free of cost. Ami stands up to her mother's boss and as a result Shruti gets suspended. Ami gets into big trouble at school and as a result her exam is moved to next week.

Sanjay finds out that Shruti lost her job at the hospital and that she kept it from to him. Sanjay confronts her. It's the day of Ami's maths exam. It remains to be seen whether Ami will choose to cheat in the exam?

Ami feels relieved after hearing she passed the math exam. Sanjay and Shruti sort out their differences. Shruti asks Sanjay if she can work at his company. Nisha begins to question the relationship between Shruti and Sanjay.

Shruti sacrifices the expensive Saris her husband gave her, to make her daughters new outfits. Ami tries on her new outfit and out of her excitement, it gets torn.

Episode 9

Ami manages to save Aishwarya from trouble. Nisha on the other hand tries to falsely accuse Ami, unfortunately for her, Ami's friends spoil her plans. Sanjay saves Shruti from an unknown drunk man. It becomes clearer and clearer, that Sanjay has fallen in love with Shruti.

Prabha tells Sanjay that in 15 days’ time, she will get him married. Sanjay tries so hard to tell Shruti about his feelings for her. Sanjay tells Prabha that he is in love with Shruti. Jasu comes over to tell Shruti she sold the house to a famous builder.

Shruti hears the other ladies Gossiping about her and Sanjay. This sparks an argument between her and Sanjay. Ami returns and she tries to play match maker for Sanjay, little did she know about what went on while she was away.

Shruti tells her mother everything that happened between her and Sanjay. Ami gets introduced to a new teacher and immediately she tries to be a match maker. Ami sneaks into the principal’s office looking for the new teacher’s appointment letter.

Ami goes behind her mom's back and calls Sanjay, asking for advice. Shruti can't focus on her work and ends up making a huge mistake at work. Sanjay declares his undying love for Shruti.

Episode 14

Yogesh gets arrested by the police and it is up to Sanjay to get to the bottom of it. Shruti decides to testify in Yogesh's favour and Sanjay doesn't like it one bit. Prabha is shocked when she finds out Shruti helped to get Yogesh released.

Episode 15

Kumkum tells Sanjay that he has to find a way to make Shruti admit to her feelings for him. Prabha goes behind Sanjay's back and arranges for Bhavna and him to get engaged. Prabha goes to meet with Shruti, to try and threaten her to stay away from Sanjay.

Thanks to Prabha’s insults, Shruti is forced to lie to Sanjay about her feelings. Shruti refuses to attend Sanjay's engagement ceremony. At the engagement ceremony Ami accidentally drops the cake and Prabha makes a huge scene.

Sanjay does he unexpected as he confesses his love for Shruti infront of everyone. Ami makes it perfectly clear that no one, not even Sanjay can take her father's place. Prabha notices that Sanjay got the ring back and she starts to smile. What could Prabha next plan possibly be?

Episode 18

Sanjay finally sees the main reason why Shruti refuses to confess her love for him. Sanjay compels Prabha to go and ask for Shruti's hand in marriage. Kumkum explains everything to Ami and she accepts the marriage. Prabha tries one last time to keep Sanjay and Shruti apart.

Shruti faces many obstacles on her way to Sanjay. Prabha is still adamant that her plan to get Bhavna married to Sanjay will succeed. The day Prabha dreaded has finally happened, as she witnesses Shruti and Sanjay getting married.
