Imaginary PVOD Release Date Set for Lionsgate Horror Movie

Lionsgate has officially set the PVOD release date for its recently released horror film, Imaginary, starring DeWanda Wise, Tom Payne, and more.

Imaginary will release on premium video on demand and premium electronic sell-through formats on March 26, 2024.

The film will be available to buy for $24.99 and $19.99 to rent for 48 hours. Digital platforms where the film is available include Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, Vudu, and more.

What is Imaginary about?

“When Jessica (DeWanda Wise) moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement,” reads the movie’s synopsis. “Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister. As Alice’s behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.”

Imaginary was written and directed by Jeff Wadlow and written by Greg Erb and Jason Oremland. It was produced by Jason Blum and Jeff Wadlow, p.g.a., and Tower of Babble.

The horror movie stars DeWanda Wise (Someone Great) as Jessica and Pyper Braun (Country Comfort) as Alice. The rest of the cast includes Tom Payne (MindGamers), Taegen Burns (The Gateway), Veronica Falcón (A Million Miles Away), and Betty Buckley (Split).
