Transfer: Premier League club interested in Boniface

Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface is a subject of interest from an unknown Premier League club, according to transfer expert Florian Plettenberg.

Plettenberg revealed that the Premier League club made a concrete verbal enquiry for the Nigeria international.

The Sky reporter further hinted that Bayer Leverkusen are not keen on selling Boniface but a big offer of around €55 million could tempt them to cash in on the player.

The 23-year-old only linked up with Die Werkself from Belgian Pro League outfit, Union St Gilloise for around €20.5 million last summer.

Boniface is now back in training after an adductor surgery in January.

He has scored 16 goals and provided eight assists in 23 games across all competitions for Xabi Alonso’s side this season.
