Among Us Cast: Patton Oswalt, Debra Wilson, More Join Animated Series

The cast of the previously announced Among Us animated series continues to grow, with Deadline reporting that Patton Oswalt, Debra Wilson, and more have joined the cast.

Oswalt and Wilson will be joined by Phil LaMarr (MADtv) and Wayne Knight (Seinfeld), who round out the cast for the star-studded show. They’ll join Elijah Wood, Randall Park, Ashley Johnson, and Yvette Nicole Brown, who were previously announced to be starring in the series.

According to an Instagram post from game developer Innersloth and CBS Studios, it was revealed that Wilson will play “Yellow,” Oswalt will play “White,” LaMarr will play “Brown,” and Knight will play “Lime” in the upcoming series.

What else do we know about the animated Among Us Series?

“Members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone. Root out the ‘Impostor’ or fall victim to its murderous designs,” reads the official synopsis.

CBS Studios’ Eye Animation and Innersloth began developing an animated Among Us series in 2023. Infinity Train creator Owen Dennis is serving as the series creator and executive producer, while Titmouse is providing the animation. Forest Willard, Marcus Bromander, Carl Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina also serve as executive producers.

No network or streamer is currently attached to the project, though Variety reported in January 2023 that those “conversations are said to be ongoing.”

Among Us was originally released in 2018, though the game’s explosive popularity came in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The game puts multiple players in the role of crew members on a spaceship, with one player serving as a murderous “imposter” whose goal is to kill the other crewmates in secret before they are discovered and jettisoned from the ship.
